Monika Lenczewska is based both in the US and Europe.

Monika worked on the Icelandic feature UNDER THE TREE directed by Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurdsson – Venice FF & TIFF (2017) and for which she received the Best Cinematography Award at the Dublin International Film Festival.

In 2016, Monika had two features premiere at Toronto International Film Festival: MESSAGE FROM THE KING, directed by Fabrice Du Welz starring Chadwick Boseman, and Sofia Exarchou’s PARK, developed in cooperation with Sundance Lab.

Monika had two films at Sundance Film Festival in the same year – 2014: IMPERIAL DREAMS, directed by Malik Vitthal starring John Boyega, and DIFRET directed by Zeresenay Mehari. She received Best Cinematography nominations at both Sundance and Camerimage Film Festival.

Recently she completed feature CITY OF LIES directed by Brad Furman, starring J. Depp and F. Whitaker as well as Danny Boyle FX series TRUST. The latter got her a 2019 nomination for Best Cinematography from the Polish Cinematographers’ Association (PSC).

In the commercial field Monika was the first female cinematographer ever to receive Creative Circle Award for her work in Libresse #Bloodnormal campaign in 2018. Recently Monika was nominated for British Arrows Award for BMW and NIKE commercials both directed by Daniel Wolfe.

Monika Lenczewska is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG), Polish Society of Cinematographers (PSC) and European Film Academy (EFA).

Monika is a GOLD WINNER of British Arrows 2019 Award for cinematography Nike Russia Never Ask – Maltzsev campaign directed by Daniel Wolfe.
